Book 2

During the second year at Fort Fernbottom, the stakes couldn't be higher. With danger closing in, Nina forms a Rescue Team to find and save the missing orphans. They set out on a perilous mission that could unravel everytning.

Book 3

The Boundary to Fort Fernbottom has been breached by evil creatures, sent by Zortimer in the third year. The only way to reseal the Boundary and save Fort Fernbottom is by finding the Magic Goblet of Gyantor. Jalina and her team search the Library of Magical Artifacts for ways to find the goblet. They must pass three tests to gain the goblet and save Fort Fernbottom. But can they do it in time?

The sixth year at Fort Fernbottom has begun for Jalina (Nina) Jons when an exciting Halloween Carnival comes to the Fort. The Carnival promises magic shows, rides, costumes and the fun diversion the entire school needs. But when "unusual" scary transformations happen on the Haunted House ride, the Rescue Team is called in to investigate. Can the Nina and the team solve the mystery of the House of Malcontent in time?

About the Author

M. K. McDaniel (Michele) resides in a small rural town in the mountains

of Nevada with her husband, a Corgi, a tabby cat, and a Border Collie. Her writing career began early, daydreaming stories as a child. In second grade, after mastering the art of print, she started bringing those stories to life on paper. Her portfolio includes published college papers, stories, poems, and in 2011, she released a middle-grade fantasy adventure titled "Nina Beana and the Owenroake Treasure Hunters." Now, the Second Edition of her first book is set to release as Jalina Jons and the Owenroake Treasure Hunters, continuing into the Jalina Jons Adventure Series with eight exciting books coming in 2026-2027. Her passion for writing has flourished throughout her life and will thrive in the Jalina Jons Adventure Series.
